Job Description

Join our team as a proactive Cleaning Supervisor in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. This hands-on role involves managing staff, supporting daily operations, and ensuring high standards across multiple client sites.

Responsibilities

Supervise and support cleaning staff across multiple client sites
Travel between locations to oversee teams and inspect standards
Act as a key point of contact between management and on-site staff
Support with general cleaning and deep cleans when required
Ensure all teams follow agreed procedures, health & safety, and quality standards
Manage stock levels, place supply orders, and monitor usage
Support site setup and onboarding of new contracts
Provide ongoing training and support to new and existing staff
Communicate updates and feedback to the Head of Ops and CEO

Qualifications

Proven experience in a cleaning supervisory or site management role
Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle (mileage reimbursed)
Strong people management and communication skills
Excellent organisation and timekeeping
Flexible and willing to adapt working hours based on business needs
Hands-on, team-oriented, and comfortable leading by example
Experience managing cleaning products, stock control, and supply ordering
Enhanced DBS required (or willing to obtain one)
