Job Description

The Material Controller operations will form an integral part of the Operations team to achieve the Operational Objectives of the business, reporting into the Logistics Manager. They will have strong time management and workload prioritisation skills, coupled with experience in Stores, Goods-In and Dispatch areas. They will understand and maintain the expectations and requirements of working to aerospace standards, especially regarding traceability and materials handling. The candidate will be expected to have a hands-on approach when required in all areas of their responsibility. Experience of using an MRP system is desirable.

Responsibilities

Receiving components and materials from customers and suppliers
Kitting and issuing components and materials to the shop floor as specified by the Works Order
Goods inwards documentation checking, goods checking & acceptance of deliveries to stock
Control and maintain traceability of all materials within operations
Ensure compliance to quality standards within BMS
Various measured business drivers related tasks

Qualifications

Experience in Stores, Goods-In, and Dispatch areas
Strong time management and workload prioritisation skills
Knowledge of aerospace standards and materials handling
Experience with MRP system is desirable
