Job Description

Join our team as a Warehouse Assistant to help ensure the smooth operation of our warehouse and contribute to our commitment to excellence in service delivery.

Responsibilities

Load and unload goods from lorries and containers, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage.
Build and assemble pallets for storage or shipping, adhering to safety protocols.
Perform picking and packing of orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely dispatch.
Operate forklifts safely to move heavy items around the warehouse as needed.
Maintain stock levels by conducting regular inventory checks and reporting discrepancies.
Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately.
Keep the warehouse organised and clean, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Engage in heavy lifting tasks as necessary, demonstrating physical capability and endurance.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
Proficient in loading, unloading, picking, and packing items efficiently.
Forklift certification is a must.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Capability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout shifts.
Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is beneficial.
Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in order fulfilment and inventory management.
