Job Description

Join our team at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as a Therapy Assistant Practitioner focusing on Frailty and Rehab.

Responsibilities

Assist in the management and treatment of patients under the guidance of a qualified clinician.
Follow departmental protocols and guidelines referring to a qualified clinician for advice.
Independently carry out specified assessments, interventions, and programs as planned with a qualified clinician.
Monitor and report progress of patients during the implementation of interventions and programs.
Hold a caseload as delegated by a qualified clinician, reporting back at agreed timescales.
Work with individuals or groups in various settings based on patient needs.
Modify interventions and programs within defined parameters and practice scope.

Qualifications

At least 12 months experience as a Band 3 therapy assistant.
12 months of NHS experience.
Interest in Occupational therapy or physiotherapy.
Motivated with excellent clinical and communication skills.
